Arkansas SPJ board member Steve Listopad, a journalism professor at Henderson State University and FOIA Coalition member, testified Tuesday before the House Education Committee in support of New Voices legislation. The proposal would add protections for college journalists and advisers while freeing institutions of higher education from liability.
