An Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper was arrested early Tuesday (Sept. 4) for driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. Records obtained from the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office under an open records request indicate deputies received a call of a vehicle sitting in the middle of the highway on state Highway 1 East near County Road 3610.
