We hope the vote reflects a maturing attitude about the purpose of tribal media in a sovereign nation. “Bad publicity” from an independently operated media arm is not an attack on the tribe. It’s a form of accountability, and the sign of a healthy nation, one that isn’t afraid to put its work up to public scrutiny.
