Annual membership dues, along with additional contributions, are used to present open government seminars, help offset the costs of open government lawsuits, sponsor First Amendment workshops for teachers, and provide open government resources such as the Citizens Pocket Guide to Oklahoma Sunshine Laws.

Donations may be made to FOI Oklahoma’s Sunshine Defense Fund to support open government lawsuits. Special recognition at public events and publications also is given for donations of:
$100 – Friends of Freedom
$250 – Liberty Bell Circle
$500 – James Madison Society
